General conditions

These General Conditions apply to all those who register for any type of travel, whose responsibility is fr travel – Travel and Tourism, Lda. Implies, its full acceptance.

 

Organization

The technical organization of this trip is fr travel– Viagens e Turismo, Lda., with its head office at Rua Alexandre Herculano, 194 – 3510-033 Viseu , with the number of contributorno nº 510 024 300 and carrier of RNAVT no. 3119 passed by Turismo de Portugal.

Inscriptions

At the time of registration, the customer must deposit 30% of the price of the trip, netting the remaining 70% up to 21 days before departure. If registration takes place 21 days or less from the date of departure, the total price of the trip must be paid at the time of registration, this condition is conditional on obtaining the part of the suppliers of confirmation of reservations for all travel services. FR Travel reserves the right to cancel any registration whose payment has not been made under the above conditions.

Changes

If possible, whenever a customer, registered for a certain date, wishes to change their registration to a different date, they must pay the fee, such as change charges. However, where the change takes place 21 days or less in advance of the date on which the customer is registered, or if the service providers do not accept the change, it is subject to the expenses and charges provided for in the ‘Withdrawals’ section.

Assignment of the registration

The customer may assign his registration, making himself replace with another person who, fulfills all the conditions required for the trip, provided that he informs the selling agency at least 7 days in advance and that the different service providers of the trip accept the replacement. The assignment of the registration shall be jointly and severally liable to the transferor and the transferee for the payment of the price of the trip and for the additional charges arising.

Baggage

The baggage and other possessions that the passenger carries with him are not covered by the travel contract, it is understood, for all purposes, that the passenger keeps with him, whatever the point of the vehicle in which they will be placed, being therefore transported by the passengers themselves and at their sole risk. To safeguard the rights of the passenger, the passenger must complain to the entity providing the services, at the time of subtraction, deterioration or destruction of the luggage and require proof of the occurrence.

Changing the itinerary

Where there are reasons unrelated to our will, the organizing agency may change the order of the routes, modify the departure times or replace any of the hotels provided for by others of similar category and location. If unforeseen circumstances require you to suspend any travel, customers will always be entitled to a refund of the sums paid.

Price changes

The prices contained in the program are based on the costs of the services and exchange rates in force at the time of printing of this program, so they are subject to change resulting from variations in the cost of transport or fuel, duties, taxes, rates and exchange rate fluctuations. Whenever there is a change in the price of the trip, the customer will be immediately informed and invited to, within the period fixed by him, accept the verified increase or cancel his registration in the same terms and conditions as those provided for in the ‘Impossibility of compliance’ item.

Documentation

The customer must have in good order his personal or family documentation (identity card, military documentation, authorization for minors, passport, visas, certificate of vaccines, and/or other if required). The agency declines any responsibility for refusing to grant visas or not allowing the customer to enter a foreign country; in these cases, apply the conditions established in the point ‘Withsance’, and it is also the responsibility of the customer, any and all costs that such situation entails.

Times (departures or arrivals)

The departure and arrival times in each city are identified at the local time of their country and according to the times of the carriers at the date of printing of the program so they are subject to change. On trips made in whole or in part by bus, the indicated times are approximate. In all means of transport, delays resulting from technical or other reasons relating to the means of transport themselves or to the transport undertakings are not necessary.

Conditions for children

You should request information on child conditions. As a general rule, since it is born up to 2 years incomplete, pays only 10%, without the right to a seat – in the case of tourist packages where several services are included, these are paid directly at the destination by the companions; 2 to 6 incomplete 50% discount and from 6 to 11 years, 25% discount.

Hotel

Prices shown are per person and are based on double room occupancy. Not all hotels have a triple room, so an extra bed can be placed in the double room and may not be of the same quality and comfort. When it comes to rooms equipped with two large or double beds it is considered that in most cases the triple consists only of those two beds. The list of hotels and apartments listed in the program will be indicated, as well as their category.

Refunds

Once the trip has started no refund is due for services not used by the customer. the non-provision of services provided for in the travel programme for reasons not attributable to the organizing agency; and if it is not possible to replace them with other equivalents, it entitles the customer to be reimbursed for the difference between the prices of the services provided and that of those actually provided.

Complaints

They may only be considered if they are submitted in writing to the agency where the reservation and settlement of the trip was made and within a period of not more than 20 days after the end of the provision of the services. They, and in accordance with the Council of the EU Directive, may only be accepted provided that they have been attended to service providers (hotels, carriers, local agents, etc.) during the course of the trip or stay, requiring their documents to prove the occurrence of them.

Impossibility of compliance

If, for facts not attributable to the organizing agency, it is unable to fulfill any service contained in the travel program, the customer has the right to withdraw from the trip, being immediately reimbursed all the amounts paid or, alternatively, accept a new proposal and a possible change in the price initially proposed. If those facts not attributable to the organizing agency determine the cancellation of the trip, the customer may still choose to participate in another package of equivalent price. If the proposed replacement package is of a lower price, the customer will be reimbursed for the difference.

Cancellation of the program

The right to cancel the package is less than the minimum required. In these cases, the customer will be informed in writing of the cancellation within 8 days in advance, in which case there is no civil liability of the agency for termination.

Withdrawals or cancellations

If the customer or some of his/her companions give up/cancel – a fact that must be participated in writing – his trip, he/she will have to pay all the charges to which the withdrawal gives way and a percentage that may go up to 15% of the price of the trip. Where appropriate, the customer will be reimbursed for the difference between the amount already paid and the amounts referred to above. Other deadlines: – cancellation of the reservation between 21st to 15th day = 50%, between the 15th day and the day of departure = 100%. In the specific case, where the customer has subscribed to our travel insurance, you should immediately activate it. It must clearly inform you under what conditions the facts that led you to cancel the trip, duly justified, as well as the name of our company. You will then be reimbursed – if there is a case for this directly by the Insurer.

Responsibility

The responsibility of the organizing agency for the travel contained in the programs and arising from the obligations assumed, is guaranteed by a liability insurance in the Insurance Company __, in accordance with the legislation in force.

VAT

The prices mentioned have already included Value Added Tax (VAT).

Airport and security fees

They are not included in the prices unless otherwise indicated.

These General Conditions may be supplemented or amended by others, duly specified, and agreed upon by the parties.
